8-Prenylnaringenin:  The Strongest Phytoestrogen for Menopause Support

Menopause is a natural process that occurs in women and results in a decline in estrogen production.  Reduced estrogen levels can cause hot flashes, night sweats, and mood changes, as well as predisposing women to diabetes, heart disease, and osteoporosis.1

Phytoestrogens are a group of plant-based compounds similar in structure to estrogen that bind to and modulate the activity of estrogen receptors (ERs).  Different phytoestrogens have different effects based on how strongly they bind to ERs, and many are used to support healthy menopause.2

8-prenylnaringenin (trademarked as Estro-8PN®) is a phytoestrogen derived from hops that has the unique distinction of binding ERs with greater affinity than all known plant estrogens and with established effects similar to that of estradiol, the most potent form of estrogen.3,4

Multiple human studies indicate that 8-prenylnaringenin is both active in the human body and effectively supports healthy menopause.5,6,7
